The purpose of REDEN’s privacy policy is to provide the User with information regarding the processing of the Data by REDEN and the User’s rights with respect to data protection within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Aware of the importance of such Data, REDEN undertakes to protect personal data in compliance with the applicable legal provisions.

For further information, the User may consult the page « REDEN GDPR and Cookie Policy ».

8. Privacy Policy and Cookies (« cookies »)

When visiting the Site, the User is informed that a browsing tracker (also known as a « cookie » or « tracker ») may be automatically installed on their browser software. This is a block of data that is not used for identification purposes but is intended to record information relating to the User’s browsing on the Site. It contains several pieces of data, including, among others: the name of the server that deposited it; an identifier in the form of a unique number; and, where applicable, an expiration date.

Cookies are technologies that allow REDEN and/or its partners to place or read information stored on the terminal (for example, your computer, tablet or smartphone) used by the User when visiting the Site.

For further information, the User may consult the page « REDEN GDPR and Cookie Policy ».

9. Third-party cookies and social networks

Social plugins or social network sharing buttons may, subject to the User’s consent, be present on the Site to enable the User to access content-sharing functionalities with other users on social networks from the Site, or to inform such other users of the User’s consultation of or opinion on content from the Site (social plugins such as “like”, “share”, etc.).

By their mere presence, these social plugins – whether or not the User is a subscriber to these social platforms – may place cookies on the User’s browser software in order to track their browsing activity and identify their areas of interest. REDEN has no control over the process used by social networks to collect information relating to the User’s browsing on the Site.

The issuance and use of cookies by these third parties are subject to their own privacy policies. REDEN invites the User to review these policies in order to identify the purposes of use, in particular advertising purposes, and the browsing information that third parties may collect through application plugins, and thus to make their choices. These privacy policies should in particular allow the User to exercise their choices with these social networks, notably by configuring their user accounts on each of these networks.

Audio and video recordings, podcasts and webcasts are also made available to the User through third-party services. When accessing such content and subject to the User’s consent, these third parties may place cookies on the User’s browser software.

The User may configure their browser to block cookies. To prevent the use of cookies, it is sufficient to enable private browsing or to completely disable cookies in the browser settings.

10. Hyperlinks

The hyperlinks provided on the Site leading to external websites have been subject to prior and express authorization. However, as REDEN is not the publisher of these websites, REDEN cannot be held liable for the content of such websites, nor for any collection or transmission of personal data, installation of cookies or any other process serving the same purposes carried out by these websites. The decision to activate the links lies exclusively with the User. Furthermore, it is the User’s responsibility to take the necessary precautions to avoid any contamination of the Site, in particular by one or more “viruses”. REDEN is not responsible for hyperlinks leading to all or part of the Site and prohibits any person from setting up such a link without its prior written authorization.

11. Liability

REDEN cannot be held liable for any material or incidental damage (including, but not limited to, technical failure, breakdown, interruption of operation, disclosure of confidential documents, loss of data), nor for any other indirect damage whatsoever arising from or related to the use of the Site, or preventing access to the Site or to any of its functionalities.

The information on the Site is provided “as is” without any warranty of any kind, whether express or implied.

REDEN does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or timeliness of the information published on the Site. Consequently, REDEN shall not be held liable for any errors or omissions, lack of availability of information, or alteration of information by a third party (hacking, virus, etc.).

Finally, the equipment used by the User to access the Site is under the User’s sole responsibility. REDEN cannot be held liable for damage caused to third parties and/or to the User’s equipment as a result of their connection to or use of the Site.

12. Governing Law
